Hello. I’m Morgan Layne

and I,

am a Disney Adult.

Welcome to my blog! I am so excited you are here! My name is Morgan Layne and I love Disney, Obviously.

I am 29 and I grew up and live in the same place Walt Disney got his start in animation at the Laugh-o-Gram Studios in Kansas City, MO. My mum actually went to school with his grandkids! I have two fur babies, Rose the black beagle and Rasta the penguin kitty. I live with those two along with my incredible partner in crime and boyfriend, Lane.

Yes. We have the same name. Well, my middle and his last, but still. It is definitely a story for the grandkids.

I have been into Disney since I was a little kid, carrying around my Simba plush and sippin’ from my Aladdin thermos. My first trip to Magic Kingdom was in 2006 and I returned ten years later in 2016. As a kid, it was really cool. The rides themed off of the movies and shows, but there wasn’t as much of an appreciation as there is now. As an adult, I recognize the amount of work they put into every detail; from the separation of pavement colors in Liberty Square to the newly painted bricks on the castle. Every. Bit. Matters. Going back again in 2017, it was the second time attending a extra ticketed event; Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party as well as the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot.

My most recent trip, September 2021, was my most favorite, most enjoyed trip and that is why I am here, writing this blog, to tell you guys about the changes and everything upcoming from here on out.

I am still that 5 year old carrying around her Simba (I still sleep with him). I cry at every fireworks crescendo. I buy all the plushies and ears. I eat all the Mickey pretzels and churros.

I just can’t get enough of DISNEY!
